For over twenty-five years California Fertility Partners has been helping Gay and Lesbian men and women build families through surrogacy and reproductive procedures. Our practice provides exceptional care in reproductive medicine to all individuals.
For lesbian and single women the treatment may be as simple as intrauterine insemination (IUI) using donor sperm. For women with diminished ovarian reserve, tubal, or pelvic factors, in vitro fertilization (IVF) may provide the best chance for pregnancy. Before undergoing any treatment procedures, all women should be evaluated to identify any factors that may interfere with conception. Once this fertility evaluation is complete, an individualized treatment plan is prescribed.
Lesbian couples may choose to have one woman provide the egg and her partner carry the pregnancy. In this scenario, one partner undergoes ovarian stimulation and surgical retrieval of her eggs for IVF. The embryo is then transferred into her partner’s uterus that has been synchronized with the egg provider’s cycle.
Gay and single men can build a family using the techniques of reproductive medicine. The combination of IVF using donor eggs fertilized with sperm of the intended parent(s) with embryo transfer into a surrogate (gestational carrier), enables gay and single men to have their own biological children. At California Fertility Partners, we have helped hundreds of men have children using these techniques over the past twenty years.
The pregnancy rates using donor eggs and gestational surrogacy are some of the highest available in assisted reproduction. The high success rates are due to the young age of the egg donors and the healthy uterine environment provided by the gestational carriers.
The egg donors and surrogates are selected through specialized agencies that carry out the initial recruitment and screening of candidates, provide referrals to attorneys who specialize in reproductive law, and help administer the arrangements. California Fertility Partners prides itself in working with some of the most respected third party agencies in the world.
All egg donor and surrogate candidates must undergo a complete medical and psychological evaluation, and consult with a Reproductive Attorney prior to initiating fertility treatments.
Our medical staff, or designated reproductive professionals and laboratories throughout the world, provide all of the medical tests required before and during treatment. Each treatment cycle is monitored by one of our experienced reproductive endocrinologists and all fertility procedures are performed in our state of the art center in Los Angeles.
We have helped individuals from countries all over the globe build families through assisted reproductive procedures.
